After a record-setting high school season, Pequot Lakes senior Olivia Lane competed in the “Border Battle” All-Star Game at the University of Minnesota-Duluth on Tuesday, March 26, earning the title of most valuable player in the game. The Border Battle sees the top athletes from northeastern Minnesota face off against those from northern and central Wisconsin. Lane led the Minnesota girls team to just their second win in the past decade, beating the Wisconsin team 95-56.
