After playing at halftime of the varsity game the night before, Pequot Lakes fifth- and sixth-grade football players participated in the annual Bobber Bowl on Saturday, Oct. 16. Two games were played on the varsity field under the lights. The youth football program has 67 participants and 15 volunteer coaches. Varsity players assisted as the "chain gang" and supported the younger players from the sidelines, varsity coach Bill Magnuson announced the games and adult referees officiated the game. Contributed
