Ganley named MVP for Patriot volleyball

From left: Pequot Lakes volleyball players Clare Ganley, Britt Kratochvil, Sannah Lohmiller, Karli Skog and Mariah Rickard were all recognized at the team's year-end banquet on Monday, Nov. 13. Ganley and Skog earned all-conference honors while Kratochvil, Lohmiller and Rickard were all-conference honorable mentions.

The Pequot Lakes Patriot volleyball team hosted its year-end banquet on Monday, Nov. 13, where senior Clare Ganley was named the team's most valuable player.

After thanking assistant coaches, team managers, parents and administration, head coach Chris Ganley honored her athletes, beginning with team captains Clarke Ganley, Karli Skog and Sannah Lohmiller for their leadership throughout the season.

Skog was awarded the Coach's Award, while Mirjana Ganley was awarded the "Most Spirit" and Addie Hubbard earning Most Improved honors. Lohmiller was named teammate of the year.

Clare Ganley and Skog earned All-Mid-State Conference honors, while Lohmiller, Mariah Rickard and Britt Kratochvil received honorable mentions.

"I would like to thank seniors Addie Hubbard, Karli Skog, Sannah Lohmiller, Clare Ganley and Jacqueline Cook for all the hard work they have put in during their careers," Coach Ganley said. "You all will certainly be missed here next year."
