For their efforts on the track senior Ethan Johnson and freshman Calia Chaney were named track MVPs at the Patriots’ year-end banquet on Tuesday, June 22.
Additionally, Lydia Hubbard and Garett Griffin were named the field MVPs for the Patriots.
Rookies of the year were Alex Hannahs and Veronica Broskovetz, while Carly Chaney and Logan Hill earned “most improved” honors.
Bryce Fabian and Julia Keiffer were the recipients of the Patriot Award.
Eight athletes - Hubbard, Carly Chaney, Calia Chaney, Broskovetz, Johnson, Isaak Geroy, Jesse Clausen and Dawsin Ackerman - were celebrated for earning all-state honors.

Those eight also earned all-conference honors, as did Caleb Davis, Garrett, Logan Hill, Cruz Megazzini, Vinny Sposito and Charles Shiessl.
The Patriots’ season ended at the Class A state meet, where both the boys and girls 4x800 relay teams finished fourth overall. The Patriots had 12 athletes compete at state and 29 compete in the section meet.
