Despite an injury to No. 1 singles player Megan Muller, the Pequot Lakes Patriots just kept on winning Tuesday, Aug. 31.
The Patriots topped Park Rapids 6-1, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 7-0 and Crookston 5-1 to improve to 17-0 overall and 3-1 in the Mid-State Conference.
“This was an important conference win for us,” head coach Monica Sergent said. “It was good to see our three doubles teams make a strong impact on the outcome.”
Carly Chaney, Quinn Trottier and Riley Fogarty all enjoyed 3-0 singles records. Payton Mudgett, Ellie Ouradnick and Aubrey Wiczek finished 3-0 in doubles action and Allyson Yahn was 2-0 at singles and 1-0 at doubles for Pequot Lakes.
