Alex Stone of Pequot Lakes was medalist with a 75 and the Patriots secured the team title in the Virginia girls' golf invitational on Saturday, May 2, at The Quarry at Giants Ridge.
Teammate Maggie Heggerston finished one stroke behind Stone as the Patriots won the event by 64 strokes over runner-up International Falls.
The Patriots are scheduled to play at Ruttger's Resort on Monday, May 11.

Patriots win at Wadena-DC
Alex Stone shot a second-place 77 to lead Pequot Lakes to the title at the Wadena-Deer Creek Invite on Thursday, April 30, at Whitetail Run Golf Course.
Maggie Heggerston and Megan Snyder shot 79s, while Amanda Neis shot an 81 to help the Patriots to first.
