Rylee Norman pitched a no-hitter as the Pine River-Backus Tigers defeated the Red Lake Warriors 22-1 Monday, May 3, making their conference record 5-0.
Leading the Tigers at bat was Danielle Burgoyne with two home runs and four RBIs. Norman and Ramsey Tulenchik each added a triple, and Neveah Middendorff, Ashley Shamp, and Chloe Beavers all finished with doubles.
The Tigers are now 6-3 overall.

Jamie Johnson struck out five batters, hit a triple, and three doubles as the Tigers defeated the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers 19-8 on Friday, April 30.
The Tigers walked 15 times, and picked up eight runs in the top of the fourth inning. Also getting hits were Julia Shogren and Danielle Burgoyne with two doubles each.

PRB sweeps Nevis
Tulenchik hit two triples and had five RBIs as the Tigers defeated Nevis 13-2, and 14-7 in a conference double header Thursday, April 29.
Johnson pitched the first game and struck out six, walked three, and gave up just two hits. In the second game Rylee Norman took the win as pitcher, struck out seven, walked five, and gave up three hits.
Also aiding the Tigers at bat were Burgoyne with three hits including a triple and Norman with two hits including a double.

Johnson struck out four batters and walked just two.
The Tigers finished with 10 hits including a triple, a double, and four RBIs from Tulenchik, and a double and one RBI from Burgoyne. Norman finished 2-3 with a run and an RBI.
