Rylee Norman batted in two RBIs off two hits for the Pine River-Backus Tigers as they took a 4-14 loss to the Sebeka Trojans Friday, April 23.
“It would have been a different game if we’d had the full team there," Coach John Riewer said. “But we definitely showed improvement from the first time we played them so we can tell we’re getting better as a team.”
Norman also pitched all six innings, struck out two batters, walked nine, and gave up nine hits.
The Tigers finished with six hits altogether with Annabelle Knapp also getting two hits, and Jamie Johnson and Neveah Middendorff collecting one each.
The Tigers are now 1-3 overall.
