The Pine River-Backus Tigers took a rough loss 5-13 to the Hill City/Northland Storm Monday, May 10.

Rylee Norman took the loss as pitcher, giving up the first four runs the Storm scored.

“We need to get 1% better every game,” Norman said. “There are mostly fundamental things that we need to work on, such as taking our time and making the appropriate plays. Our hitting was good but we had a lot of errors on the field. All we can do is focus on the next game and keep improving and learning what needs to be done in order to be successful.”
