Morgan Eckes pitched 10 strikeouts while only allowing one hit as the Patriots defeated the Pine River-Backus Tigers 12-0 Thursday, May 27.
“We were hitting on all cylinders tonight,” Coach Bret Sergent said. “We got great pitching from Morgan Eckes who allowed only one hit and struck out 10. The three home runs by Kaitlyn Geschwill, Morgan Eckes and Maci Martini were very timely and helped power our offense.”
The Patriots finished with eight hits altogether.
