The Aitkin All-Starz and Crosby-Ironton Rangerettes each advanced to the state tournament in jazz and kick following their performances in the Section 4A meet on Saturday, Feb. 7, in Aitkin.
Aitkin won the jazz competition, C-I finished third, Wadena-Deer Creek was ninth, Pierz 11th and Pine River-Backus 13th.
The All Starz also were champions in kick with C-I runner-up, W-DC eighth, Pierz 10th and PR-B 13th.
Top three teams in kick and jazz advanced to the Class A state tournament on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 13-14, at the Target Center.
