Volleyball: Patriots roll past Brainerd, Park Rapids

PARK RAPIDS — Ella Kratochvil finished with nine kills, 12 digs and three ace serves as the Class 2A’s top-ranked Pequot Lakes Patriots defeated the Park Rapids Panthers 3-0 in a Mid-State Conference game Thursday, Sept. 15.

Maci Martini totaled eight kills, 11 digs and three ace serves for the Patriots while Abi Martin recorded 23 set assists and 11 digs.

Isabel Larson tallied seven kills and three blocks while Grace Hoffard added six kills and three blocks for the 5-0 Patriots.

BRAINERD — The Class 2A top-ranked Patriots swept the Brainerd Warriors 3-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Martini led the way for the Patriots with 17 kills and nine digs.

Her hitting mate Ella Kratochvil pitched in 10 kills and 16 digs. Kelsi Martini recorded 22 digs as libero.
