PEQUOT LAKES — Abi Martin went 4-for-6 with four RBIs and a double across two games as the Pequot Lakes Patriots swept the Aitkin Gobblers 4-1 and 12-1 in a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Friday, April 29.
Morgan Eckes got the win for the Patriots in Game One as she pitched seven innings with 13 strikeouts and one earned run while going 2-3 with a double at the plate.
Kelsi Martini went 2-3 with a double in the Game One win while Martin had a two-RBI single in the second inning.
In Game Two, Katelyn Geschwill got the win and struck out 11 in five innings pitched. Brea Eckes went 2-3 with a double and Martin was 2-3 with two RBIs.

PEQUOT LAKES — Geschwill struck out 12 and walked just two as she pitched the Pequot Lakes Patriots to a 5-0 no-hit victory over the Pillager Huskies Thursday, April 28.
Maci Martini and Morgan Eckes each finished 3-4 with an RBI. Brea Eckes was 2-3 with an RBI. Maya Orvis and Geschwill each doubled.

Maci Martini doubled and Morgan Eckes struck out 10 batters and walked just two to get the win.
