Fall sports season begins

This week marked the return of the Patriots and the Tigers.

Varsity athletes participating in football, volleyball, cross-country and tennis returned to the field and court in Pequot Lakes and Pine River-Backus with practices beginning on Monday, Aug. 15.

Competition also begins this week, with the Patriot tennis team taking part in triangulars on Thursday, Aug. 18, and Friday, Aug. 19.
