Quady Bernu and Tyler Seeling scored in the third period, but the Northern Lakes Lightning still fell short in a 5-2 non-conference boys’ hockey loss to Greenway Thursday, Jan 13.
Jamison St. Clair and Christian Crutcher assisted Bernu on his goal and Zach Ehnstrom and Cruther were credited with assists on Seeling’s goal.
Lightning goalie Nigel Desanto turned aside 28 shots in the loss.
Northern Lakes, 7-6 overall, were scheduled to play at Sauk Centre Tuesday, Jan. 18, and then host Wadena-Deer Creek at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at the Breezy Point Sports Center.
