Boys Golf: Patriots 2nd in Mid-State meet

DETROIT LAKES — Pequot Lakes senior Tyler Seeling carded a 75 to help lead the Patriot boys golf team to a second-place finish in a Mid-State Conference meet on Monday, May 16, at Detroit Lakes Country Club.

Seeling’s score was good enough to tie for third place, while Anthony Armstrong followed with a 78 and a fifth-place finish.

Team scores: 1-Detroit Lakes 315, 2-Pequot Lakes 322, 3-Staples-Motley 331, 4-Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin 344, 5-Park Rapids 365, Wadena-Deer Creek 375

Individual medalist: 1-Carter White (Staples-Motley) 73
