Rian Struss led the Pine River-Backus Tigers with 19 points as they picked up their third straight win after beating the visiting Blackduck Drakes 62-55 in a Northland Conference boys’ basketball game Friday, Jan. 14.
Brady Bistrow tallied 18 points for the Tigers while Andrew Bueckers finished with 13.
PR-B, 4-2 in the conference and 6-7 overall, were scheduled to face Bertha-Hewitt Tuesday, Jan. 18, and then play at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21.
