MOOSE LAKE — Pequot Lakes’ Caden Nelson pitched a no-hitter and tallied 10 strikeouts for the Patriots as they shut out Moose Lake-Willow River 9-0 Friday, May 6.

Nic Kotaska went 3-3 with four RBIs, a double and a run scored. Clay Erickson also tallied a double for the Patriots.

Greenway 3, Pequot Lakes 2

NASHWAUK — Pequot Lakes’ Erickson recorded six strikeouts for the Patriots as they fell 3-2 to the Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin Raiders Thursday, May 5.

Kotaska and Nelson each tallied one run for the Patriots in the non-conference game.

Pequot wins 2

PEQUOT LAKES — Erickson went 3-5 with three RBIs for the Patriots as they beat the Park Rapids Panthers 6-5 in Game One of a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Tuesday, May 3.

Grant Loge went 1-4 with a double and Kotaska went 2-5 with a double, a run and an RBI.

The Patriots shut out the Panthers 10-0 in Game Two with Andrew Villareal going 1-3 with a double and two RBIs.
