Almost autumn: Patriots take part in tennis clinic

PEQUOT LAKES — The fall sports season does not begin until next week, but the Pequot Lakes tennis team had a bit of an early start with a preseason clinic on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Tennis players of various ages took part in drills — led by St. John's University tennis coach Jack Bowe — in preparation for the 2022 season.

The Patriots finished their season with a 27-1 record, falling to Elk River in the Section 7AA finals.
