PL 8th-graders win at C-I

The Pequot Lakes eighth-grade volleyball program brought two teams to the Mid-State Volleyball tournament at Crosby-Ironton on Saturday, Oct. 5. Both teams won all three of their matches to win the tournament. Pequot Lakes 1 defeated Wadena-Deer Creek, Park Rapids and Staples-Motley while Pequot Lakes 2 defeated Aitkin, Detroit Lakes 2 and Staples-Motley. The eighth-grade team has a record of 23-0, winning both the Mid-State tournament and the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley tournament.
