Pequot Lakes youth baseball club to host golf scramble fundraiser

The Pequot Lakes Youth Baseball Diamond Club to host a golf scramble at 2 p.m. on September 13, at the Preserve Golf Course.

The event will feature a four-person scramble along with prizes for other contests. Money prizes are awarded for first place in the lower and upper score groups.

Cost is $75 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf plus cart.

This is the primary fundraiser for the Diamond Club to help purchase equipment, uniforms, tournament entry fees and field improvements.

If you would like to become involved there are three ways to participate:

1. Sign up with a person-person golf team.

2. Have your business become a hole sponsor for the event.

3. Make a tax deductible donation to the Diamond Club if not golfing.

The purpose of the Diamond Club is to enhance skill development of 7-15 year old youth baseball in the area. If you are interested in playing or contributing to this event please contact Matt Erickson at 218-820-5835 or merickson19@hotmail.com .
