The Pequot Lakes football team was able to shake off a three-game losing streak in a 32-20 win over Park Rapids in a Midwest Red Subdistrict game on Friday, Oct. 5.
Cale Wolf connected with Dylin Ackerman on two long scoring passes, and Tim Ryan and Dylan Mesenbrink each scored on fumble recoveries in the Patriots win.
Wolf found Ackerman on a 45-yard scoring pass in the first quarter, and Bode Magnuson was on the receiving end of a 70-yard passing score from Wolf. The two teams were tied at the half.
In the second half, Tim Ryan took a fumble 80 yards for a score, and Mesenbrink followed that with a 60-yard return for a score.
Wolf and Ackerman then teamed up for the last score of the game on a 50-yard pass, as the Patriots moved to 3-3 overall.
