Trap Shooting: Johnson, Dingman lead conference
Students and teams from across the state earned honors in the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League's (MNSHSCTL) 2018 fall season, which wrapped up competition on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Jake Johnson was the top shooter in 1A - Conference 15, with a season average of 24.3 targets hit per 25 shots. In the team's reserve week, he connected with 48 of 50 targets.
Pequot Lakes' Autumn Dingman was the top female shooter in the conference with an average of 23.5 targets hit, while her teammate Jessica Fabian is ranked immediately behind her with an average of 22.8.
The MNSHSCTL Fall League offering is open to high school teams that competed in the 2018 Spring League. The fall competition is 3 weeks shorter than the in the spring, and there is no final tournament to end the season.
