Pine River Watershed Alliance to host hybrid annual meeting June 15

Northern Waters Land Trust and Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District will present

The Pine River Watershed Alliance will host its annual business meeting from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the Ideal Community Center just off Crow Wing County Road 16. All guests are welcome. The meeting will also be available online via Zoom.

In addition to the normal business meeting, the Northern Waters Land Trust and Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation district will give presentations.

NWLT will talk about its mission to preserve land to protect water quality. Started in 1995, the NWLT serves 4.2 million acres covering six major watersheds. Within that area, NWLT has protected more than 3,463 acres of critical fish and wildlife habitat.

The Crow Wing SWCD will share information on easement activities.
