The Breezy Point North Stars dropped a pair of one-goal home games against the North Iowa Bulls last weekend - losing 3-2 on Friday, Nov. 21, and dropping a 4-3 decision on Saturday, Nov. 22.
On Saturday, the Bulls led 4-1 before the North Stars rallied with a pair of late goals by Brooke Evans and Sean Viti to make it 4--3 with 9:48 remaining.
The game was tied 1-1 after the opening period as Torry Rolsum scored for Breezy Point.
Winning netminder Jordan Moran stopped 21 shots while the North Stars' Joe Licata had 45 saves.
On Friday, Nov. 21, Breezy Point led 2-0 after the first period on power-play goals by Linder Kenyon and Ryan Mezera. The Bulls tied it in the second period, and then netted the winning goal when Joe Burgmeier scored with 1:42 remaining.

Winning goaltender David Johnson had 26 saves while Licata stopped 31 shots.

Breezy Point is scheduled to play at the Granite City Lumberjacks on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and then host Twin City Steel at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29. The North Stars will be honoring the Military on Nov. 29 with an exhibition game at 5:15 p.m. between local veterans and Wounded Warriors from all over Minnesota. Maleah Westlund will sing the National Anthem and a Wounded Warrior will drop the opening puck.
