Breezy Point Figure Skating Club members compete in Willmar

Six skaters representing Breezy Point Figure Skating Club competed at the Diamond Edge Classic in Willmar on Saturday, Jan. 8. Nadia Troop placed second in both Snowplow Sam Elements and Program, while Brielle Bialka placed first in Basic 3 Program. Also representing the club was Kennedy McCafferty, who placed third and fifth in Basic 4 Elements and Program, as well as fourth in Basic Interpretive. Lacey Borders and Emmaline Gilson both competed in Basic 5 Elements and Program, where Borders placed second in both events and Gilson placed third and second. Lastly, Maren Wallin competed at the Excel Preliminary level and placed first in Compulsory, Spins, and Interpretative, and second in Freeskate. Front row, from left: Brielle Bialka and Nadia Troop.
