Pequot Lakes sophomore Josie Harguth and freshman Anaka Schroeder helped the Brainerd Warrior gymnastics team defeat the Moorhead Spuds 138.700-125.675 Monday, March 8.
Harguth finished second on the balance beam with a 9.0 score while Schroeder was second in all-around with 33.35. Schroeder also finished third on floor exercise, fifth on beam, and sixth on bars and vault.
The Warriors’ Maddy Sedlachek was first in the all-around. Brainerd, 4-5 overall, is scheduled to compete in the section meet Saturday, March 20.

On Thursday, March 4, Schroeder finished fourth in both the balance beam and floor exercise as Brainerd earned a 136.65 to 133.875 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Willmar Cardinals. Harguth was sixth on the beam.
