Crosswoods Men's 18-Hole League
The Crosswoods Men's 18-Hole League met Tuesday, Aug. 18, for a 2 best net ball of 4.
Roger Klukow, Lyle Monson, Loyal Meech and Dave Oleson took first place on the front 9.
Dan Temple, Don Miller, Jack Krasky and Darryl Thorvilson came in first for the back 9 and second on the front 9.
The second-place team for the back 9 went to the team of Dan Schlapkohl, Gary White, Joe Smith and Pat McAlpine.

Thorvilson, Ralph Lewis, John Antos and Ed Kellogg all had closest shots to the pin. Jerry Bourassa and Troy Christner had the longest putts. There were four chip-ins for birdies carded by Kellogg, Christner, Roger Weis and Miller.
Thorvilson had the low net on the front 9 while Gene Guthmueller had the low net for the back 9.
Don Rother took player of the day honors for recording the lowest total net.
New members are welcome Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Women of Whitefish
Women of Whitefish 2015 (WOW) - a once-a-year event where both the 9- and 18-hole leagues play together - included a pre-game competition of putting, chipping and driving contests. Golf game of the day was step aside.
Winners with a score of 30 were Marguerite Baker, Vicki Dypwick and Carol Lovro. A tie for second place with 34s went to (1) Clarice Skalman, Joi Brandt, Mimi Swanson and Linda Carpenter; and (2) Maxine Riches, Deb Bettes, Renee Scherman and Katie Deeg.
A tie for third place with 35s went to (1) Barb Hanson, Kathy Strampe, Susan Swanson and Steph Wordelman; and (2) Patty Kline, Sharen Hilliard, Sharon Chupurdia and Connie Foster.
