Ruby Seidl tied for fourth place to lead the Pequot Lakes Patriots to a second-place finish in the Pequot Lakes Invite Thursday, April 15, at Crosswoods Golf Course in Crosslake.
“Being such a young team, I had no idea what to expect,” head coach Savannah Smith said. “I was pleasantly surprised with how strong our younger classmen performed.”
Seidl fired an 84 with three birdies, followed by Morgan Krieger in seventh place with an 85.
Rounding out the Patriot girls were Genevive Birkeland with a 91, Maddie Pederson with 93, Annie Neva with 96 and Kate Stephens with 103.
Detroit Lakes claimed the top spot at the Crosslake meet, where six schools braved the cold to compete.
