Ramsey Tulenchik scored 22 points to lead all scorers for Pine River-Backus in its 43-36 loss to Nevis Monday, Dec. 20, at the Fornshell Classic at Pillager High School.

Tulenchik led the Pine River-Backus Tigers with 17 points in their 45-41 Northland Conference win over the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves Thursday, Dec. 16.

Cate Travis added 10 for the Tigers as they improved to 2-0 in conference play.

Travis added eight points for the Tigers.

Montana Carsten scored 11 points for the Wolverines while Kaylin Lupkes finished with nine points.
