Girls Basketball: Tigers lose 6th straight after 9-0 start

The Tiger girls fell to Clearbrook-Gonvik and Cass Lake-Bena to move to 9-6 on the season

Olivia Adkins recorded 24 points for the Pine River-Backus Tigers as they fell to the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears 71-67 in a Northwoods Conference game Friday, March 5.

Ramsey Tulenchik added 19 points for the Tigers, who move to 9-6 on the season.

Tulenchik posted a game-high 28 points for Class 1A’s 10th-ranked Pine River-Backus Tigers who lost 74-68 to Class 1A’s 15th-ranked Cass Lake-Bena Panthers Tuesday, March 2, in a Northwoods Conference game.

Rylie Hirschey added 15 points for the Tigers who lost to Cass Lake-Bena 62-52 Feb. 25.
