Girls Basketball: Tiger girls win two

Bailey Wynn dropped 30 points on the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to a 73-61 Northwoods Conference victory Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Bailey Wynn dropped 30 points on the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to a 73-61 Northwoods Conference victory Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Rylie Hirschey added 22 points. Gabby Rainwater finished with 10 rebounds and eight points and Alyssa Semmler added 15 points and eight boards for PR-B, which has won 10 straight.

Rylie Hirschey posted a game-high 20 points for the Pine River-Backus Tigers in a 73-39 Northwoods Conference win over the Nevis Tigers Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Bailey Wynn scored 12 followed by Gabby Rainwater's 11 and Olivia Adkins' 10.

PR-B is 8-0 in the conference and 16-4 overall.
