Girls’ Basketball: Patriots top Cardinals

Pequot Lakes’ Maci Martini posted 23 points for the Patriots as they defeated the Staples-Motley Cardinals 62-44 in a Mid-State Conference game Friday, Jan. 3.

Lauren Schultz added 10 points for the Patriots, which was their first conference win of the season.

The Cardinals were led in scoring by Alix Peterson who recorded 12 points, and Haley Cichos with eight.
