Mitchell Wynn rushed for 135 yards on 24 carries in a 36-8 win for Pine River-Backus over Fertile-Beltrami Friday, Sept. 23.

Spencer Richards passed and rushed for a touchdown, and Brandon Wolske rushed for two scores.

Richards opened up the scoring on a 1-yard plunge in the second quarter to open the scoring. He accounted for the last score on a 15-yard scoring strike to Kiel Struss in the fourth quarter.

The Tigers gained a total of 287 yards on offense while giving up just 129 yards to the Falcons.
