EV students compete in Elks Hoop Shoot

Students from Eagle View Elementary School and Pequot Lakes Middle School competed in the Elks Local Hoop Shoot competition held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Forestview. Emma Spiczka won the 8-9 year old competition while Khia Lewis placed second. Rhys Gabrielson got second in the 8-9 year old category with Kane Ross taking third place. The 10-11 year old competition was won by Eli Martini. Emme Sullivan placed second in the 10-11 year old group with Chelby Wothe getting third place. Emma Spiczka won the 8-9 year old competition while Khia Lewis placed second. Rhys Gabrielson got second in the 8-9 year old category with Kane Ross taking third place.

The 10-11 year old competition was won by Eli Martini.

Emme Sullivan placed second in the 10-11 year old group with Chelby Wothe getting third place. The 12-13 year old category was won by Aaliyah Lewis.

The free throw shooters that placed first in their competition will advance to the District Hoop Shoot contest on Jan. 18.
