Jazz 2nd, Kick 3rd at Mid-State

The Pequot Lakes Revolution dance team attended the Mid-State Conference Meet in Crosby-Ironton on Friday, Jan. 24, where the varsity jazz team finished second overall and the kick team finished third.

“I am so proud of how hard the team has worked and performed this season,” Head Coach Melissa Owen said. “This past week we had our best performances of the season. We are excited and motivated going into sections. This week we are going to continue cleaning and working on increasing our kick height and timing in our routines.”

Kenzie Lampi and Jocelynn Rothwell were named all-conference athletes, while Samantha Jackson and Marisa Mulholland were honorable mentions.

The Revolution JV jazz team also finished second at the meet.

Jazz 9th, Kick 12th in Monticello

On Saturday, Jan. 25, the Revolution jazz team finished ninth out of 15 teams and the jazz team finished 12th.

The JV jazz team also finished ninth at the event.
