The team of Charles Hamilton, Dale Erickson, Marty Appel and Palmer Sorensen finished first on the front nine while Jerry Bourassa, Dale Tracy, John Ritter and Ken Olsen were first on the back nine in Crosswoods men's league golf action on Thursday, April 30.

The team of Bob Hinkley, Lyle Monson, Dan Davis and John Jensen finished second on the front nine while Al Olson, Randy Kraft, Daryl Anderson and Doug Yeager were runners-up on the back.

Individual honors included: Ken Olsen, closest to the pin on No. 16, Marty Appel, closest to the pin on No. 6, Bob Johnson, longest putt on No. 5, Randy Kraft, longest putt on No. 12, Appel, low net with 30 on the front nine, and Kraft, low net with 29 on the back nine. Appel also earned player of the day with a low net round of 60.

On Thursday, April 28, the team of Jim Fraser, Chuck Hamilton, Randy Kraft and Steve Laak were first on the front nine while Dale Stevens, Ernie Byerly, Roger Weiss and Bob Hinkley were first on the back nine. Bob Jones, John Jensen, Bob McPherson and Jim Ritter were second on the front nine while Ron Langer, Jim Mateyka, John Ritter and Doug Yeager were runners-up on the back.

Mateyka was player of the day with a low net round of 64. Other honors were Weiss, closest to the pin on No. 4, Fraser, closest to the pin on No. 11, Al Stans, longest putt on No. 9, Dan Davis, longest putt on No. 18, Jerry Graham, low net with 33 on the front nine, and Weiss, low net with 27 on the back nine.
