The Pequot Lakes boys cross country team was propelled by a second-place finish by Tony Fitzer, a fourth-place finish by Reid Pierzinski and fifth-place finish from Jacob Tschida en route to a team victory at the Bagley Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
The Patriot girls finished second at the event, fueled by seventh- and eighth-place finishes from Grace McGuire and Sunshine Langworth, respectively.
The Pine River-Backus teams finished the event with a 11th-place finish from the boys, while the girls finished 13th.
