Mara Adams and Marcus Lukanen turned in the fastest times for the Pine River-Backus cross-country teams at the New York Mills Dual Meet on Thursday, Sept.27.
Adams finished first overall with a time of 24:34. She was followed across the line by Anna Sechser in second and Lauren Penkhus in third. Neither PR-B or New York Mills fielded complete girls teams.
Lukanen finished fourth (21:06) for the Tiger boys, who finished second behind New York Mills. He was immediately followed by Louis Bueckers, Caleb Travis and Kade Schneider.
