WILLMAR — Tyler Seeling recorded a hat trick to lead the Northern Lakes Lightning to a 6-2 victory over the Willmar Cardinals Monday, Jan. 31.

Taylor Berg added a goal and an assist for the Lightning while Logan Verville and Christian Crutcher each scored a goal.

Isaac Peterson, Zach Ehnstrom, Jameson St. Clair and Quady Bernu each tallied an assist for Northern Lakes who outshot Willmar 60-29.

Nigel DeSanto stopped 27 of the 29 shots he faced in net for the Lightning.

BREEZY POINT — Logan Verville scored two goals for the Northern Lakes Lightning as they defeated the Park Rapids Panthers 9-2 in a Mid-State Conference game Thursday, Jan. 27.

Peterson recorded a goal and three assists while Seeling and Cullen Kratchovil each totaled a goal and two assists.

Colton Craig, Taylor Berg, Andrew Villareal and Karter Lee each scored a goal for Northern Lakes.

DeSanto stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced in net.
