Tyler Seeling tallied two goals and an assist to lead No. 2 Northern Lakes to a 7-1 win over No. 6 Pine City in the Section 5-1A semifinals Saturday, March 20.
The Lightning scored four first-period goals and put 35 shots on the Pine City net for the game.
Hunter Nybakken also finished with a goal and an assist and Colton Craig recorded two assists as Northern Lakes improved to 17-3 overall and now move on to face Monticello in the section finals.
Adler Hoagland kicked away 14 of the 15 shots he faced.

Northern Lakes’ Kyler Couture netted the overtime winning goal for the No. 2 seeded Northern Lakes Lightning as they beat the No. 10 seeded Princeton Tigers 4-3 Thursday, March 18, in the Section 5-1A quarterfinals.
Caiden Kjelstrom recorded two goals for the Lightning and Nybakken recorded a goal and an assist.
Hoagland totaled 34 saves for the Lightning.
