Pequot Lakes junior Tyler Seeling now heads to state after finishing third with a two-day score of 156 at the Section 6-2A tournament on Monday, June 7.
Seeling shot a 77 on the first day and a 79 on the second to advance.
Fellow junior Cooper Johnson was one position out of advancing after tying for seventh. Quady Bernu and Hunter Nybakken secured top 20 finishes as well, shooting a 168 and 172 respectively.

Four Tigers advance to 2nd day
Joseph Zaczkowski sat in 10th place after shooting an 89 in the opening round of the Section 5-1A tournament Monday, June 7, at Perham Lakeside Golf Club.
Brady Bristow was in 15th with 93, Isaiah Aulie shot a 99 for 18th place and Ethan Burns’ 101 had him in 26th place before the scheduled final round Tuesday, June 8.

Zaczkowski shot nines of 45-44 for his 89. He carded a birdie on the 16th hole.
Bristow fired nines of 47-46 for his opening round 93.
