Seeling 2nd in Park Rapids
Pequot Lakes finished third with a 323, behind Seeling’s second-place score of 71, at Headwaters Golf Club in Park Rapids Friday, May 7.
Seeling went out in 37 with two birdies on the fourth and ninth holes. He faltered at the seventh with a double bogey and the eighth with a bogey.
Seeling finished his round with back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 to come in 34 and finish one shot behind the leader.
Johnson and Armstrong each fired 82s for Pequot as well.

PL 2nd in Mid-Minn play
Seeling posted an even-par 72 to lead the Patriots to second place at a Mid-Minn Conference meet Tuesday, May 4, at Whitetail Run Golf Course.
Seeling carded three birdies, including one on the opening hole which helped him to a 1-under 35 on the front. A double bogey on the 10th hole pushed even to 1-over, but the junior got back in red numbers with birdies on 11 and 13. A bogey on 17 dropped Seeling back to even par.
Armstrong followed Seeling with an 81, while Ethan Thomas had an 84.

Pine River-Backus placed third led by Isaiah Aulie’s sixth-place 82. Joseph Zaczkowski followed with an 89.
