Brady Raph tallied a game-high 33 points, but the Pine River-Backus Tigers boys’ basketball team still fell to visiting Cass Lake-Bena 77-74 in Northland Conference play Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Louis Bueckers tallied 19 points and Champ Howard scored 12 for PR-B, which dropped to 1-6 in the conference and 7-6 overall.

Jarrell Jacobs scored 31 to lead the Panthers, which had defeated PR-B 55-41 Dec. 12.

The Tigers’ home game with Laporte on Friday, Jan. 17, and at Browerville on Saturday, Jan. 18, were both postponed due to poor weather conditions. PR-B was scheduled to face Walker-Hackensack-Akeley on Tuesday, Jan. 21, before playing at Laporte on Thursday, Jan. 23.
