Girls Basketball: Tigers win two

Bailey Wynn scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers girls basketball past the Nevis Tigers 75-30 in the opening round of the Fornshell Christmas Classic Thursday, Dec. 20.

Riley Hirschey added 15 points and Gabby Rainwater had 10 for PR-B, who is 6-1 on the season.

Wynn posted 20 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists as the Tigers took down the Park Rapids Panthers 69-56 Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Alyssa Semmler contributed 14 points for the Tigers in the non-conference game.
