Pequot Lakes Community Education offers a basketball camp for youth going into grades K-2 from 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday, June 15-18, in the Pequot Lakes High School Athletic Center.
Camp director Garry Grewe, former Pequot Lakes High School varsity boys' basketball coach and current middle level basketball coach, will work on the fundamentals of basketball, including ball handling, dribbling, shooting and defense.
Team play skills will also be taught. The baskets will be lowered to teach proper shooting technique.
