Baseball: Tigers top Isle, fall to Sebeka

The PR-B baseball team picked up a 10-5 win over Isle, but followed that up with a 10-run loss to Sebeka.

Rian Struss was 1-1 for the Pine River-Backus Tigers and it was that one hit that prevented Sebeka’s Spencer Lake from tossing a no-hitter as the Trojans defeated the Pine River-Backus Tigers 10-0 in non-conference action Thursday, April 29.

Pine River-Backus 10, Isle 5

Struss was 1-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI as the Tigers beat the Isle Huskies 10-5 Tuesday, April 27.

Corbin Knapp was 3-4 with two runs for the Tigers while Konnor King pitched four innings, allowed two hits and struck out eight.
