Erik Larsen registered a home run for the Pequot Lakes Patriots in Game Two of a Mid-State Conference doubleheader as they fell 8-2 and 11-4 to the Detroit Lakes Lakers Thursday, May 13.

Larsen went 2-4 with two RBIs in Game Two. Nic Kotaska went 1-3 with two runs scored.

In Game One Sam Rysavy went 1-3 with two RBIs and a double.

PL sweeps North Woods

Kotaska tallied two hits and two RBIs in two five-innings games as the Pequot Lakes Patriots swept North Woods in a doubleheader 6-0 and 4-3 Tuesday, May 11.

Both of Kotaska’s hits came in Game One. Grant Loge earned the win in Game One and tallied five strikeouts.

Andrew Villareal went 1-2 with a RBI and scored the winning run for Pequot Lakes in Game Two.

Larsen got the win in Game Two and tallied seven strikeouts in five innings.
