BARROWS-Tow trucks were out early and often on a crash filled night on the fourth night of racing Saturday, May 25, at North Central Speedway

Shawn Fletcher returned to the winners podium in the Modified feature after blowing an engine Friday, May 24, in Princeton. Devin Larson walked away from a spectacular crash on the back straightaway in the Hobby Stock feature.

It was kids night at the track with bikes going to drawing winners. Children were allowed on the track to talk with drivers and collect pictures and candy.

Cliff Sasker and track staff worked to prep a track soaked by rain all week. The result was a race-ready track, but with holes drivers needed to watch. Cautions marred most of the features with a number of cars towed from the track.

The Sportmods feature opened the show after the kids intermission and Mark Martini led it from start to finish.

Larson provided the biggest show for fans as his hobby stock car flipped several times on the backstretch. He was out of the car quickly. Dave Johnson claimed the win with Tim Gonska finishing second.

The Sport Compact feature hosted the night's largest field of 18 cars. Zach Jackson led wire-to-wire to get the win.

Seth Kramer was a winner in one of the two Super Stock heats and looked to have a fast car, but left with car issues after two laps. That opened the door for Dexton Koch. He led for the next 17 laps for the win in front of Jordan Henkemeyer. The race started with 12 cars, but finished with six.

Four cars were out early in the 13-car Mod 4 race. After bringing out a caution flag on the first lap that pushed him to the back of the field, Adam Prieve recovered to get the win. Matt Halls finished second.

Shawn Fletcher suffered through a tough night in Princeton blowing up an engine in the heat race, but was ready for Saturday's 20-lap feature. He ran up front with Billy Kendall III and Aaron Johnson midway through the race.

Kendall III led for nine laps before Fletcher caught him to get the lead.

Fletcher won with Kenall III finishing second and Johnson claiming the third spot.
