Cross country: Tiger girls 3rd, boys 4th in Wadena

The Pine River-Backus Tiger cross-country teams left the Deer River Invitiational at Menahga on Tuesday, Sept. 26, with a third-place finish from the girls team and a fourth-place finish from the boys.

Mara Adams led the way for the girls, finishing 19th with a time of 24:24. Emma Templeton was right behind her with a time of 25:08.

Luke Sechser finished 15th on the boys' side with a time of 19:15, and Nick Ackerman finished one second behind him.
